Russian ministry reports heavy Ukrainian losses on April 15

The Russian Ministry of Defense released a daily report for 15 April 2026 stating that Ukrainian forces lost 1,145 personnel the previous day. The report listed the destruction of 23 armored vehicles, including a Senator combat armored car, seven artillery systems, 78 special‑purpose vehicles, and 225 aerial drones. Additional losses included a RADA radar station, four electronic warfare stations, three unmanned boats destroyed by the Black Sea Fleet, and twelve guided aerial bombs shot down by air defence. Russian troops from the “North” grouping also claimed control of the settlement of Volchanske Khutora in Kharkiv region and reported the destruction of fourteen enemy ammunition depots across various operational zones.
