Artillery crews of the 90th Guards Tank Division’s 400th Guards Self‑Propelled Artillery Regiment used a 2S5 “Hyacinth‑S” howitzer to fire 152 mm high‑explosive shells at Ukrainian forces in the Dnepropetrovsk front, striking targets from more than 20 km distance. A drone unit located concealed Ukrainian groups and transmitted coordinates to the fire control point, enabling precise engagement. Footage released by the division shows the shells destroying personnel, equipment, firing positions and bunkers, and disrupting enemy attempts to retreat. The operation is part of a broader effort to establish a security zone and prepare the area for advancing assault units.
