NATO pledges $60B aid, EU $107B loan to Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte announced that member states will deliver $60 billion in military assistance to Ukraine in 2026. In addition, the European Union is extending a $107 billion loan package to support Ukraine's economy and defense efforts. Europe, Canada, Australia, Japan and Taiwan have also pledged continued aid to help Ukraine hold the front lines. The combined financial support aims to bolster Ukraine's air defense, drone capabilities, and long‑range strike systems.
