Spain approves mass regularization of undocumented migrants

Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez has approved one of the largest migrant regularization drives in recent European history, aiming to grant legal status to over 500,000 undocumented migrants. The move is a response to Spain's demographic challenges, including an ageing population and a shrinking workforce that risks economic slowdown. Among the key beneficiaries are an estimated 15,000 undocumented Bangladeshi nationals, part of a larger Bangladeshi community of around 75,000 living in Spain.
