US Navy upgrades Coyote launcher on destroyer

The US Navy has been spotted testing an upgraded launcher for Coyote interceptor missiles on the Arleigh Burke-class destroyer USS Carl M. Levin (DDG 120). A Navy representative confirmed the new launcher increases the number of Coyote missiles carried from four to eight and has been adapted for maritime use. The Coyote is a US anti-aircraft missile system designed to counter drones, and the Block 2 variant was reportedly used in the recent conflict with Iran.
