Russian drone units use relay tech on Krasnoliman front

Drone units of Russia's 20th Guards Combined Arms Army, part of the 'Zapad' grouping, are employing a new relay system to enhance operations on the Krasnoliman front. The system uses one drone as a signal amplifier, creating a stable radio bridge that extends the flight range of FPV combat drones beyond the operator's line of sight. This allows strikes from unconventional angles and in difficult terrain like forests and ravines, even amid electronic warfare. The units report using domestic communication technologies, enabling continued operations independent of disabled Western systems.
