Russia enhances robotic engineering in Ukraine war
Specialists at the UAV Center of the engineering brigade in Russia's 'Center' troop grouping are enhancing the use of robotic complexes for operations in the Special Military Operation zone in Ukraine. Ground robotic systems such as 'Courier' and 'Omich' have proven effective since their deployment, evolving from transporting supplies to handling specialized engineering tasks like remote mine initiation and route clearance. By integrating electromagnetic modules, these systems can safely clear paths, reducing risks for personnel, while self-loading variants and machinery for trench filling showcase their adaptability. Continuous improvements based on practical experience allow military engineers to create custom solutions, enhancing engineering support capabilities while minimizing human exposure to danger in conflict areas.
