Russia deploys new digital artillery control system

Rostec State Corporation has delivered a batch of new 'Planshet-A' digital computing systems to Russian troops. Developed by the High Precision Systems holding, the system is designed to automate fire control for howitzers, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), and mortar units. It processes data from reconnaissance drones, performs ballistic calculations, and coordinates fire assets in real time to reduce reaction time and increase accuracy. The integration of this system is intended to accelerate counter-battery warfare and improve the overall effectiveness of artillery in dynamic combat conditions.
