NIA arrests five over Manipur mortar blast

India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested five individuals in connection with a deadly mortar blast in Manipur's Bishnupur district. According to the state's Home Minister, the arrested persons belong to the banned militant group United Kuki National Liberation Army (UKNLA). The attack killed two minor children and injured their mother. State authorities remain in close contact with the NIA as the investigation into the blast continues.
