Punjab Police's Counter Intelligence Wing has recovered four hand grenades, two foreign-made sophisticated pistols, and ammunition from an accused in Amritsar. Police said the accused was linked to a Pakistan ISI-backed cross-border terror module and was allegedly involved in a recent grenade attack in Chandigarh. Preliminary investigation suggests he was acting on instructions from foreign-based handlers and was arrested in a joint operation by the State Special Operations Cells of Amritsar and Mohali.
