Turkey school shooter referenced US mass killer

A 14-year-old student killed at least nine people, including eight fellow pupils, in a school shooting in southeastern Turkey. Turkish police revealed on Thursday that the shooter had used a WhatsApp profile image referencing Elliot Rodger, the perpetrator of a 2014 mass killing in the United States. This attack is the second deadly school shooting to occur in Turkey in just two days.
