The health condition of former Bosnian Serb military commander Ratko Mladić, who is serving a life sentence for genocide and war crimes, is reportedly worsening. His supporters have requested that his personal doctors be permitted to travel to The Hague to assess and treat him. Mladić, 83, is imprisoned at the UN detention center in the Netherlands. The International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals has not yet publicly commented on the request.
