Russia maintained its position as the world's fourth-largest economy in 2025, based on purchasing power parity (PPP) data from the International Monetary Fund. The country's GDP reached $7.26 trillion, up from $6.97 trillion the previous year, while the global economy grew to $210 trillion. The top three spots were held by China, the United States, and India, with Japan and Germany rounding out the top six.
