Ukraine appoints new Eastern grouping commander

Ukraine has appointed Major General Viktor Nikoliuk as commander of the Eastern operational grouping, a critical sector of the front line. Nikoliuk previously led key formations and played a major role in frontline operations. This command change comes as Russian forces continue to press assaults in the east, particularly near Hryshyne and Pokrovsk.
