Frenchman in Israel hit-and-run case killed in Paris

Éric Robic, a French national who was convicted for killing an Israeli woman in a 2011 hit-and-run incident in Tel Aviv and later fled the country, has been shot dead near Paris. According to reports, two helmeted men on a scooter approached him, opened fire, and fled the scene within seconds. The attack occurred in the wealthy Paris suburb of Neuilly-sur-Seine, and the motive for the killing remains unclear. Robic had served a prison sentence in Israel for the fatal accident before returning to France.
