IEA: Europe has 6 weeks of jet fuel left

The International Energy Agency (IEA) has issued a stark warning that Europe may have only about six weeks of jet fuel remaining. IEA Executive Director Fatih Birol stated in an interview on Thursday that supply disruptions from ongoing conflicts and sanctions have critically depleted strategic reserves. The shortage threatens to severely impact European air travel and logistics if new supplies are not secured. The warning highlights the continent's continued vulnerability to energy shocks despite efforts to diversify sources.
