Hezbollah launches widespread attacks on northern Israel

Hezbollah has unleashed a major series of attacks across northern Israel and southern Lebanon on April 16. The operations included rocket barrages targeting the Nahariya settlement, the Bint Jbeil area, and newly established artillery emplacements in Al-Bayyada. Additional strikes hit the Shraga base with a drone swarm, targeted the Naval Officers' School in Akka bay, and struck the settlements of Shlomi, Kiryat Shmona, and Ya'ara. The group also targeted a vehicle and soldier gathering near the Khiam detention center earlier in the day.
