Iran-Pakistan military talks in Tehran

Pakistan's army chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, met with Major General Ali Abdollahi, the Commander of the Iranian General Staff, in Tehran to discuss de-escalation. Munir briefed his counterpart on Islamabad's diplomatic efforts and talks aimed at ending the ongoing conflict. The Iranian commander thanked Pakistan for its supportive stance and declared that Iran's armed forces are fully prepared for comprehensive defense, relying on domestically produced equipment and strong public support. He stated that adversaries have misjudged both Iran's military capability and the level of public backing it enjoys.
