Iran advisor urges sinking US ships

A senior Iranian military advisor has publicly urged Iran to sink every US ship enforcing the blockade rather than extend the ceasefire. Mohsen Rezaei, a military advisor to Supreme Leader Khamenei and IRGC brigadier general, stated this was his personal opinion but expressed strong opposition to ceasefire extension. His comments come as Iran has already formally rejected a US request for a two-week ceasefire extension, signaling readiness to resume hostilities. The US maintains a naval blockade of Iranian ports with over 10,000 deployed troops, while several Iran-linked tankers have recently passed through the Strait of Hormuz despite the blockade.
