Pakistan's Munir confirms ceasefire pursuit

Pakistan's army chief General Asim Munir has confirmed he is actively pursuing a ceasefire in Lebanon during discussions with Iranian officials. In a conversation with Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Munir stated he understands the importance of a Lebanon ceasefire and is seriously pursuing efforts and consultations. The Pakistani commander also referenced the martyrdom of Iran's Supreme Leader as causing mourning and protests in Pakistan, while emphasizing border security between Iran and Pakistan. This aligns with previous reports of Iran, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia working together to pressure the U.S. into forcing a ceasefire in the Lebanon conflict.
