Two more Democrats have qualified for the stage in California's upcoming gubernatorial primary debate. Former California Attorney General and cabinet secretary Xavier Becerra and San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan cleared the required polling threshold. Their qualification follows the exit of former Congressman Eric Swalwell, who dropped out amid a sexual assault allegation and a reported federal criminal investigation. The debate organizers announced the updated lineup on Thursday.
