USS Tripoli joins US blockade fleet near Hormuz

The US Navy's amphibious assault ship USS Tripoli has been spotted in the southern Gulf of Oman after transiting around Africa. The vessel, carrying approximately 3,500 Marines and sailors, has been deployed near the Strait of Hormuz as part of the ongoing US naval blockade against Iranian ports. According to reports, the US has already deployed at least 15 warships in the Gulf of Oman and Arabian Sea and intends to increase that number to 20 by April 21-22, with over 10,000 military personnel participating in the mission.
