Lebanon reports 'good' IMF meeting

Lebanese Finance Minister Yassine Jaber stated on Thursday that his government held good meetings this week with the International Monetary Fund. He affirmed Lebanon's continued commitment to working toward a formal lending program with the institution. The meetings come as Lebanon seeks to stabilize its economy and implement critical financial reforms. The IMF has long urged Lebanon to enact measures to address its deep economic crisis.
