Germany funds Patriot missiles for Ukraine

Germany has signed a $3.7 billion contract to supply Ukraine with "several hundred" Patriot PAC-2 GEM-T interceptor missiles, funded by Berlin and built by Raytheon. The missiles will be manufactured at a joint facility in Schrobenhausen, Germany. Patriot systems are Ukraine's only air defense capable of intercepting Russian ballistic missiles.
