A U.S. destroyer interdicted two oil tankers attempting to leave Iran on Tuesday, a day after President Donald Trump's naval blockade went into effect, and ordered them to turn around. The interdiction is part of the ongoing U.S. enforcement of the blockade, which aims to halt all economic trade entering and exiting Iran by sea. This action follows earlier reports of U.S. forces intercepting multiple vessels since the blockade began. CENTCOM has previously stated that no vessels have successfully breached the blockade since its implementation.
