Drug bust at Imphal airport sparks mob violence

A major drug bust at Imphal's Tulihal Airport in Manipur escalated into violent street clashes. A joint security team arrested a man with 6.74 kg of suspected brown sugar, and during questioning, he revealed hidden arms in the Kwakta area. When security forces moved to investigate, a mob blocked their convoy, torched two vehicles, and forced authorities to conduct a flag march to restore order; four people were subsequently arrested for the violence.
