IDF conducts ground ops in south Lebanon
The Israel Defense Forces are continuing targeted ground operations in southern Lebanon, with soldiers from the 91st Division and 8th Brigade working to strengthen forward defense areas and protect northern Israel. During these operations, IDF soldiers located an anti-tank missile launcher directed toward northern Israel, along with other weapons and technological equipment used by Hezbollah. Furthermore, over the past few days, IDF soldiers in cooperation with the Israeli Air Force have struck Hezbollah terrorists and military infrastructure, including a command center. The IDF states it will continue to operate against Hezbollah and will not allow harm to Israeli civilians.
The IDF provided new details on its ground operations, specifying that troops found a Hezbollah ATGM launcher aimed at Israel along with missiles and other equipment, and that the division directed airstrikes on Hezbollah buildings.
