Sri Lanka has repatriated 238 Iranian sailors who were left stranded in the country after one of their warships was torpedoed. Deputy Defence Minister Aruna Jayasekara stated that 32 sailors from the IRIS Dena and 206 from the IRIS Bushehr were flown out on April 14. The repatriation was coordinated by Sri Lankan authorities using a chartered aircraft, while 15 sailors remain behind to operate the vessel.
