UK refuses to join US Iran blockade

The United Kingdom has publicly broken with the United States over its policy toward Iran. UK Finance Minister Jeremy Hunt stated that starting a conflict with Iran without clear objectives or an exit plan was a foolish decision. He expressed disappointment and anger at Washington for entering a war it did not know how to end. As a result, Hunt confirmed the UK will not participate in the US naval blockade of Iranian ports, calling it the wrong approach.
