Iran used Chinese satellite to target US bases

A Financial Times investigation reveals that Iran secretly used a Chinese-built spy satellite, the TEE-01B, to gather intelligence on U.S. military bases across the Middle East during the recent war. The IRGC covertly acquired the device from the Chinese company Earth Eye Co at the end of 2024 and used it to track facilities in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Bahrain, and Iraq. President Trump had previously warned China of 'big problems' if it provided Tehran with military systems. The Chinese embassy in Washington has rejected the accusations, calling them 'speculative disinformation'.
