Russia advances on Komarskaya front

Russian forces have continued to advance on the Komarskaya and Velikomikhailovskaya fronts in eastern Ukraine since early April 2026. They have regained ground north of Yanvarske and Novoselivka, correcting earlier reports of Ukrainian recapture, and driven Ukrainian forces out of Oleksandrohad. This has shifted the front line to the border between Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts, with ongoing fighting along the Vovcha River and in forests east of Lisne.
