I’m not a Christian. Nor am I particularly fond of Pope Leo XIV. But, whether you like it or not, the Pope represents the religion of 1.4 billion Catholics worldwide. And, in a general sense, the Pope as an institution has always been an advocate for peace around the world, whether we agree with all their specific statements or not. Pope Francis for example did a lot for Gaza, he spoke out against Israel, although he undeniably had his faults too. Anyway, Trump needs to put some respect on his name. Catholics can’t keep allowing him to use their religion only when it benefits him, then thrashing the Pope on a random Monday evening.
