Military engineers from Russia's 12th Separate Guards Engineer Brigade are conducting mine clearance operations in and around the city of Krasnoarmeysk in the Donetsk People's Republic. The city faces daily artillery shelling from Ukrainian forces, who also use drones to drop homemade explosives and have left munitions in residential building basements. Despite threats from enemy FPV drones, the engineers respond to local requests to survey and clear hazardous areas like playgrounds and roads. They have recently uncovered and neutralized unexploded munitions, UAVs, and a foreign-made anti-tank mine.
