Trump comments on oil price amid blockade

President Donald Trump has commented on global oil prices, expressing satisfaction with the current level. In a social media post, he stated, "If you told me we would be at ONLY $92 a barrel, I would have been very surprised. I am very happy." He predicted prices will drop further as soon as the ongoing conflict with Iran is resolved, adding, "It's going to come dropping down as soon as this is over, and I think it can be over very soon. If they're (Iran) smart, it can end soon." The remarks come amid a U.S. naval blockade of Iran and ongoing ceasefire negotiations.
