The Curacao-flagged VLCC tanker ALICIA, which is under US sanctions and has a history of carrying Iranian oil, has transited the Strait of Hormuz and entered the Persian Gulf. The vessel reportedly used a toll route controlled by Iran's regime between Hormuz Island and Larak Island. This transit is the latest in a series of sanctioned vessels navigating the strategic waterway amid heightened tensions and a US naval blockade.
