Russia-linked hackers target Ukraine prosecutors

Russia-linked hackers have compromised more than 170 email accounts belonging to Ukrainian and European officials, according to Reuters. The campaign targeted Ukrainian prosecutors and investigators, including the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office, the Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA), and the Kyiv Prosecutor's Training Center, as well as more than a dozen agencies and officials from NATO countries. The data was made publicly available on the internet by hackers and discovered by a group of British and American cyber threat researchers. This represents a significant breach of sensitive government communications across multiple allied nations.
