Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko has declared his region a 'frontline' territory due to its extensive border with NATO countries and the frequency of drone attacks. He stated that urgent measures are being taken to strengthen air defense, including building towers and erecting strongholds and fortifications for border guards. Drozdenko emphasized that the goal of the UAV attacks was to target economic facilities and the port, as well as to sow panic and cause social tension. He previously advised residents to be prepared for potential disruptions.
