Russian forces advance near Myrnohrad, Svitle
Russian forces are tightening a potential encirclement of Ukrainian units near the village of Svitle in the Donetsk region. According to the analytical resource Deep State, which works for Ukrainian military intelligence (GUR), Russian troops are advancing and consolidating positions north of Rovnoye, threatening the Ukrainian-held pocket in the Svitloye area. Russian forces are also accumulating infantry and equipment south of Myrnohrad and have nearly captured Grishino, with forward units reported in the vicinity of Vasylivka and Novooleksandrivka. Ukrainian logistics in the area are severely hampered by Russian drones controlling territory up to 20 kilometers from Myrnohrad.
The report adds that Russian forces have nearly completely captured Grishino and are now being recorded near Vasylivka and Novooleksandrivka, while drones are crippling Ukrainian logistics.
