Leningrad Region fortifies against drone attacks

Leningrad Region Governor Alexander Drozdenko has declared his northwestern Russian region a 'frontline' territory due to its extensive border with NATO countries and the frequency of drone attacks. He stated that urgent measures are being taken to strengthen air defense, including building towers and erecting fortifications for border guards. Drozdenko emphasized that the goal of the UAV attacks was economic facilities, ports, and attempts to sow panic and social tension. The region borders Finland and Estonia, both NATO members, and has experienced multiple drone incursions in recent months.
