IDF advances on multiple fronts in south Lebanon

Israeli forces are making significant advances on multiple fronts in southern Lebanon as part of operations to establish a buffer zone. The IDF is on the verge of capturing the heavily symbolic town of Bint Jbeil after five days of fierce fighting that has left it in ruins, with troops battling the last pockets of resistance. Simultaneously, Israeli forces are advancing north from Bint Jbeil, pushing into the village of Bani Hayyan, reaching Qoussair near the Litani River, and entering the town of Shebaa following the earlier capture of Mount Sedana.
