Canada's first female Defense Chief on barriers for women

Canada's Defense Chief (the first woman in the role) explains that because the military removed "systemic barriers," she was able to become the first woman in the position. She identified her biggest obstacles as "perceptions that women are weak and they can't be in a combat role and be a mother at the same time."
